Spot and Stain
Removal
Our Policy for Stain removal is as follows;
Normal spotting and stain
removal is included in our cleaning price and our cleaning
process.
If at the completion of cleaning
there are stains that have not been removed in the cleaning
process that require extra treatments such as "Heat transfer
methods" or "Spot dyeing" these procedures will be discussed
with you and a quote given for the removal of these more
difficult stains.
We will also discuss with you
whether the stain will respond to extra treatment and the
likelihood of the stain being able to be removed, partially
removed or lightened or if the stain is deemed permanent.
Often extra treatments as mentioned above are not required
as 85% of spots and stains are removed in the initial
cleaning process.

Note:
- Minimum charge for any job is $85.00
- Combined lounge/dinning are considered 2 rooms.
- A room size is 12m².

Carpet Cleaning price includes
normal spot and stain treatments. If the technician deems the
carpet beyond normal cleaning or advanced spotting or stain
removal techniques are required
you will be quoted for these extra services. These extra
services are normally not required on 85% of jobs but some
carpets need industrial cleaning or advanced treatments which
take extra time to perform. The technician will normally
quote you before commencing but sometimes a stain maybe hidden
under soiling or
may not be removed with normal carpet cleaning procedures.
Advanced treatments such as heat transfer or spot dyeing can
take an extra 20 minutes per stain.
- If carpet
requires vacuuming prior to cleaning commences this is charged at $9.00
per room. Please vacuum carpet prior to our arrival to avoid this
charge.
- We will carry our equipment to your
apartment/unit a maximum of 2 flights of stairs from where our van is
parked at no extra cost (1 flight of stairs is 15 steps). If we need to
carry our equipment more then 2 flights of stairs we charge $11.00 per
flight of stairs after the first two free flights.
- Thrifty Carpet Cleaning cleans to Australian Standards
AS/NZS 3733:1995
- Thrifty carpet cleaning uses Carpet Steam cleaning and Carpet Dry Cleaning as our 2 types of cleaning methods.
